Do you prefer to holiday by the sea or inland?

I like the sea....but right now any holiday would be GREAT! ;)

I love both! It really depends on what time of the year it is and what the goal of my trip is. I really love the wild, rugged expanses of the outback and the pretty rural towns of inland Australia, but they're usually very hot during the middle of summer so I wouldn't visit them at that time. My favourite summer holidays are near the ocean...or if they're inland, somewhere beautiful and natural, with a small river or stream to cool off in, (ideally with a waterfall to play under). Island and house-boat holidays are great for summer too, but can be a bit pricey.

I'm with Chipp, bye the sea preferable but any holiday at this point would be gladly taken.

I don't get away as much as I should, but anywhere there is the Ocean, I'm up for it!

By the sea for me! I like going off peak because I don't like to share beaches with the multitudes, spoilt that way from family holidays to the seaside as a kid.

Ideal holiday is definitely by the sea. I love the beach, the clean air, the sea breeze and the sound of waves crashing against the shore.

Both - staying near the beach with access to stunning hinterland is ideal for me (let's say Byron Bay area fit the bill perfectly).
