I think I probably prefer to have raw tomatoes, though I have read that cooking them makes them healthier, for what reason I cannot remember!

I rarely cook tomatoes apart from a tomato sauce, and only VERY occasionally would I have a tomato with a fried egg.

Cooking activates the "thing" (sorry can't remember the name) that fights cancer.

I love them both ways. I love them in a salad, I love them grilled for breakfast and sometimes I even eat them like an apple . . . if it is a really good year.

Cooked. I have never been a huge fan of raw tomatoes.
Raw is good. I like to cut it up and mix it into rice . I have it in sandwich, salsa, salad dressing and a lot of other things. I even like to eat it like the fruit it is.
You may not have it over there . . .but one of my favourite things is a tomato sandwich made with Vogel's bread with a smidge of salt and pepper . . .mmmm mmmm. (In fact, now that I am thinking about it, I am not sure when I last saw Vogel's bread here.) My sister almost lived on it in the 60s and 70s. LOL

I actually prefer cooked tomatoes and pending the texture of the raw tomato will actually leave them to the side of a plate. If I do eat tomatoes it's in the guise of sugo (passata). Otherwise I will BBQ or grill or panfry the tomato cherries or pieces. I find cooking them brings out a sweetness you wouldn't normally get with the raw version.
I love tomatoes. I like them raw or cooked. Any way I can get them. Fresh is best.
I like them either way. They are good in sandwiches or salads. The canned ones are good too.
I prefer tomatoes raw. I like them in salads, tomato sandwiches, and tomato on crackers with salt and pepper. I will have tomatoes cooked, when I make my own pasta sauce. I don't like grilled or roasted tomatoes much.
I eat them both, cooked and straight from ,my garden. As I pass the veggie garden and if we have the cherry tomatoes, there is not way I can pass it without picking some to eat.
I love them both ways. When cooking them I always add sugar to cut the acid.
I like tomatos and will eat them almost any way, (don't like tinned tomato soup) sliced on toast for breakfast or on a piece pf rye bread, yum, as a fruit is good too, another fruit that is easy to carry and eat anytime.
It doesn't bother me I like either ways, but I do enjoy the tomatoes more when they are home grown, they are packed with flavour.
I like them raw and cooked. It really depends on the dish.
If I'm having a salad it would be weird to not have tomatoes in it, but if i'm having a fry up then its grilled or fried tomatoes all the way.
I especially love cooked cherry tomatoes
Cooked. I don't really like raw tomatoes

That's a tough one. The best answer I can give is this: it depends on my mood!

I just L O V E tomatoes any which-way!

My late Mother used to pack one in my School Lunchbox, with s & p, in little wax paper parcels, for me to sprinkle on it!

We eat theTress tomatoes. They have a wonderful perfume. We fins, if they for;t have a smell, we don't buy them! For those 1 or 2 out there who may not know what a Tress tomato is, they are the ones that are sold on little 'branches' if that makes sense, & I only use Australian tin tomatoes in my cooking.
