I prefer carrots raw -the crunchy taste is so much nicer than the mushy taste when cooked.
However I DO like them roasted but I would say that nine times out of ten I eat carrots raw and often grated in salads or vegetarian burgers or the like. AND I have bad eyes too!
I like carrots both cooked and raw.My favourites though are the little sweet baby ones we used to grow in the garden,just after they have been pulled up and scrubbed clean!So sweet and crunchy!! My mum used to put butter,honey and sesame seeds on the cooked carrots we had with many meals,and these are still another favourite even now.
Love carrots any way..........grated raw, juiced, especially with Apple, or Bean, or Celery too, steamed, & best of all, roasted, with a little bit of 'burn', same way for pumpkin!
