I prefer to make it at home or get it at the bakery.
Some of the bread at the supermarket they make...are just wonderful.
They have come a long way over the years and bake it in store, and I love to get my bread rolls just warm Yummmie.
Oh! jonaj, I concur!
There's absolutely nothing like freshly baked bread, of any description, buttered, & with whatever one feels like atop!
I love Ham off the Bone, fresh Tomato, very thinly sliced Onion, & a smidgen of HE Mustard, smeared. Add a very hot 'cuppa', & I'm in 7th Heaven! Lol!
Oh! my that description sounds wonderful.... :) yum!
The local supermarket has an in store bakery, and they're awesome. I'd choose them over the local bakeries.
Haven't seen you here for a while! welcome back :)
I usually make my own cakes, muffins etc. I buy bread from the supermarket because they have a good range and it is convenient. Sometimes I buy buns and such at a bakery for a treat.
A bakery produced item, be in-store supermarket, or independent, is all the same.
As long as it's fresh is my priority.
We always buy our bread from the supermarket, & if we buy a little cake, (which is very occasionally) we’ll buy it from a bakery.
P.S. I can't bake anything, because our oven doesn't work!
I do love a good loaf from a bakery but prefer to make my own cakes, cookies and other baked goods.
I like and do both!
I make some of my own bread, though my bread maker is a bit old, but I also like some of the "designer" breads that you can buy and oddly enough, Coles own brand.
As long as its fresh I don't really mind but it is more convenience and cost governing what I purchase as bakeries tend to be much dearer.
As I need to keep away from wheat, I buy the yummiest spelt bread & rolls from Eve's Organics on Anzac Hwy. She makes superb spelt & different grains breads, rolls, biscuits, etc. fresh daily. Gluten free products too, so I can recommend her delicious products, the proof of the pudding.......! :))
I do prefer buns and yeasts from a bakery, but I also like a good crusty loaf to from a bakery, having said that not all bakeries are that good!
We've heard of yuppies, they've been around since the 1980s
