Red just seems yummie, like strawberry is so nice.Flavour, plus I remember red as a child with custard and cream in a trifle.Love it! :)
I have never actually tried a trifle with jelly. It sounds like I am obviously missing out.
Hey Vee! it's me jonaj
I'm now called vuroz
long story...lol
as for the Trifle
you just have to have some!
I love the stuff :)
Oh! Vee, a trifle is easy to make, but MUST include a VERY good 'slurp' of Sweet Sherry, on the 'cake' ingredient! Lol!
It all depends! I like green jelly when it is apple flavour but not when it is lime flavour. I like pretty much every flavour of red jelly but actually prefer blackcurrant or purple jelly to either red or green.
Why? That's like asking why I like tea but not coffee. I just do!
I didn't realise there were so many different flavours. Seems I have been missing out!
Oh yes, I'm a big jelly fan, always have been..... and now my son is too so we have a well stocked jelly cupboard :)
I may have to track some down and give them a go. ;)
Yellow!
But, there is always a but, when I am being playful, ---read naughty cruel and or evil---- I make jelly from scratch, use different flavours in with different food colouring's, and the kids are soooo confused.
Mwaaahahahahahaha!
Red !! I have never had green one though.
Mmmm red.... no no green! Aaargh can't decide.
Definitely red as green is rather sickly sweet.
i like red. green is a bit on the sour side, at least to my taste buds and I don't like sour.
Both red and green and if you are a South Sydney ( Rabbitos) supporter I guess you would like to have them mixed together, but I am not.
Love both Port Wine & Raspberry.
Why? Can only put it down to the colours!
Red. Green always tastes like some kind of cleaner to me :(
Definitely RED!
Port Wine's the best, then Raspberry.
Of course, a drop o' Sweet Sherry in it, as well! Lol!
Red. I just like the taste.
Port wine 1st, then any green 1! I've always made red & green jellies for my Christmas trifles though.
Port wine and purple. When I'm eating at a buffet it is always red and green available so I have both.
port wine jelly brought a packet the other day had not bought jelly for a some time , it did not taste right , when I asked my daughter she said I was right as she had noticed the same thing, so what have they done to it, I for one will not buy it again.
Yes, LIME, although I haven't made nor eaten any jelly for many years now! (There's also an orange 1 out there.) I used to make my Christmas truffle every year with red & green jelly, cake soaked in sherry of cause, cream, & then a 2nd layer of custard on the top. I'd have tin peaches in it as well, with a flower pattern of the peach slices on top, a red cherry of the middle of the 'flowers' & angelica for the stem & leaves! I used to buy the angelica from the health food shop, but I don't think they sell it anymore.
That sounds lovely, miro_.
I'm not really a huge fan of jelly but I prefer the red one.
