Do you prefer pizzas with a traditional tomato sauce base or with a BBQ base?

I much prefer tomato on my base. However meat lovers style pizzas do compliment a BBQ sauce very well.

This is a great question - tomato sauce is good, but if you're having a traditional style pizza, I find that Napoletana sauce is the way to go. Seafood pizzas also go well with a white marinara sauce and, as thriftyfrugalfun has pointed out, BBQ sauce rocks on a meat lovers style pizza.

For me, traditional tomato is much nicer.
Call me old fashioned ..lol. :)
I like to keep things simple with some foods.

I prefer traditional tomato base -have not heard of putting a bbq sauce base on a pizza.
I generally put cheese on top of the base also.
