Do you tend to pack too much or too little when travelling? How far in advance do you pack?

Never ! I do get organised at least a week in advance if it's a long holiday. the day before would do for a weekend.
Used to. Now my packing is more sensible due to going on shorter trips.
Not anymore! I've become the light packer in the family. I would pack a week in advance, my memory is pretty sketchy so I like to make a checklist.
I tend to take 2 more extra pieces than necessary - this includes everything in clothing. However, I tend to be a pretty smart packer when it comes to toiletries and cosmetics :)
I'm very careful, and only take clothes that do not wrinkle...so I am limited, which is a big help.I pack two days before, so no need to panic.
Sorry it's done it again uuh! :(

Only when I come back from travelling. ;)
No. I must be the lightest packer in the world! I took an on board bag only for a three week trip to the Caribbean. It's mostly because I hate having to relocate my luggage several times to get it through customs, that and I don't need that many clothing options. It's also nice to buy clothes when I travel so that I come back with interesting items that are unique, so usually I have a bit more luggage on the return journey.
Oh yes, all the time...and then I have to lug around a big heavy suitcase! Just as well they're all on wheels these days.
I almost always have issues with overpacking. Traveling with kids is so tricky, you have to be prepared for everything and that's where the trouble with overpacking comes from! :)
Always and I am aware that it is too much.
I am learning to pack more sensibly.
Need a checklist and be packed 2 days in advance.
Then relax and enjoy the excitement.

I overpack silly things then get to my destination an have nothing
Always!!!! I'm a "just in case" packer/traveller. I'm going away to Europe next year for about a month, and I'm dreading what I'm going to pack for that already!!! Any hints would be welcome. Mandy E.
I am an avid traveller and you would think I would have learnt by now!! I do over pack and I always regret it when I get back. It is so hard, especially when you are travelling for over a month, you need to be prepared no matter where you are!!

Yes I pack far too much
Yes, especially with my fishing gear.
I don't, but my husband is the worst! It is really annoying sometimes - he packs more than me and our two children combined!
