I sure do!
I cook for several night but sometimes still have some left over so put it in the freezer.
I have two freezers - one in the kitchen and one in the garage so as my kitchen one is generally full, and is part of my normal fridge, I put a lot of leftovers in the garage freezer.
I rarely eat them and end up throwing out which is a dreadful waste....but I do use the freezers!

You would save quite a bit of money if you ate those frozen meals....

My husband is a shift worker so I deliberately cook too much to freeze in single serve containers.
This way we can all have something decent to eat when he's working, and we can all pick which meal we'd like.
I hate wasting food, so if the leftovers are not used the next night, I will definitely freeze them in meal sized containers! It is as simple as that!!
Absolutely. I hate waste.

I totally refuse to throw food out...
It's very wrong, unless what is leftover, is not something that you can freeze.

Waste with food, was something we were never ever allowed to let happen growing up!
We don't have a lot of food left over. If we do, my daughter takes it to work the next day for her lunch.
I have a small chest freezer which I make good use of. I freeze leftovers, sometimes in one portion serves and sometimes enough for the two of us. I also freeze any leftover tomato paste, lemon juice and the like. I try to avoid wasting food.
Marie, Do you freeze tomato puree, tomato paste & lemon juice in ice cube trays. I do, then put them into snack packs or sandwich bags when frozen. I also keep my fresh chillies & rosemary in sandwich bags in the freezer, & my large piece of ginger to grate when needed in a recipe, in a paper bag in the freezer.

Yes. I find using ice cube trays means I can get the amount needed for a recipe.
Yeah always try and freeze a portion of most things that I cook. Its handy to have in freezer if you don't feel like cooking and hopefully there is something that everyone will fancy.
Always as I hate eating the same meal 2 days in a row, that is if one of my daughters and grandchildren don't take the leftovers home.
No, because there's only 2 of us, & we only eat the same meal (recipe) once a year.

Are you saying you cook 365 x 3 different meals a year???? I could not think of that many recipes! breakfast lunch and dinner????
by brigi
Yes, it makes for and easy meal later, I do eat the frozen things from the freezer from time to time as there is no point in having all that food just sitting there.
Ops no sorry Brigi, That was only for the dinners! We have the same old, same old, breakfasts & lunches.

No. I just pop them in the fridge and finish them the next day.
