Do you make your own cheese?

Yes indeed. The lime cheese is interesting - I've never seen that before. I'm based in Sydney and have done a couple of Kristen Allen's workshops. I've made yoghurt, mascarpone, labneh, ricotta, fetta and halloumi. It's brilliant fun and very very easy to make.

Oh dear me no, I'm hopeless at this sort of thing and making cheese sounds awfully difficult. I bet my hubby would like to give a go though.

I've paneer a couple of times but that's it. One day I'm going to make cheese properly though.

I have made my on cheese in the past. Mostly Paneer.

I have made my own ricotta several times however it does not last long and I always throw half of it out as there is only one person in my household and it goes off before I can eat it all.

It is quite easy to make.

My mum used to make her own soft cheese which was very easy from what I could tell - it was a way of using up milk that was about to go off, so that it was wasted!
Making hard cheese is a different matter though, that is difficult and takes a lot of time, skill and devotion. People spend years honing their hard cheese making skills!
