Do you make pavlova, and do you like eating pavlova?

I make a very yummy pavlova using only 4 eggs and it never fails -even though it drops a bit after it is cooked, it still looks great when the cream and various fruits is on it.

And yes, I love pavlova.

I find it an easy one when I have to take a cake to someone's place or a function.

Oh yes, it is just not something we tend to get.

Until I was 23,I would adore to eat Pavlova(as well as make it!!) I then found out the reason I spent my childhood being continually horribly ill,was partly due to the fact that I am allergic to eggs,a staple food which I positively LIVED on!!!
So now I do not make or eat these delicious desserts. TOO SAD :-(

I've made one once, and it was really good. My mother in law makes the best, most enormous fluffy pavlova in the entire world, and covers it with fresh raspberries from her yard.

Love pavlova unless there is a sweet topping on the cream - like at one friend's house she sprinkled it with peppermint crisp and chocolate. Bit too sweet for me.

My kids love decorating the mini pavlovas themselves (with berries and cream), but I find them too sweet myself.

No, I've never made it. I will eat it occasionally, but I'm always worried it's going to be too sweet. They don't even serve them on the cruise ships I've been on.
