A beautifully decorated Gingerbread House makes the perfect centrepiece for the Christmas table. You can enjoy the fun of making your own Gingerbread House while impressing your friends and family with your creativity.
Do you make a Gingerbread House at home yourself? What is your favourite design?
Life's too short to make something beautiful only for it to be demolished within mouthfuls. A round ginger bread biscuit tastes just as good, is easier to bit into, and you don't feel any remorse for having broken it to pieces.
I let the kids make it - so it looks very ramshackle. Then we take a few photos of it, and then they smash it up and eat it...Only lasts a few days, but only about 10 mins standing upright. They love it tho...
Not this year. I made one a few years ago and it was fun to decorate, but the kit I had bought was gingerbread based, which I didn't like, so it put me off doing it again.
I was given a Gingerbread house kit just recently. Maybe I should get cracking on that. So the answer would be - yes - if I don't leave it too late! ;)
Not enough time these days.
There are some lovely bought ones, but I do get them given to me, and my 20 yr old son made one last year at Camp.
It was very good.
yes! My church organisers a gingerbread house making afternoon every year. My kids, my girl pals and I, we all have a good laugh and a good time making our gingerbread houses. Our kids have a ball demolishing the Gingerbread house on Christmas eve!
