Nope. As long as I don't have to interact, hear, or see them then they are fine, but don't put them anywhere near me.

Its true that we don't like children when they are naughty.Once I taught small children in a school and they got on top of my head.I developed BP so I had to leave.From far they seem good.Also they appear good when they are obedient and disciplined.

When I first read this, I thought I'd already answered this question and forgotten that I had! Couldn't agree more. Horrible creatures...

Well, just someone saying I shouldn't dislike kids and preach how wonderful they are to me.

I work with children and have three of my own so yes I love them.

Lovely.You have 3 children of your own and work with children too.Yes,its true children are a bundle of joy and working and playing with children is fun.

I love my OWN daughter too . . .cannot stand other children. (she is an adult now)

I love children. They are the future. I wish there were more stay-at-home moms out their. We didn't have the problems we have today when that was the norm, not the exception.

I love children. they are usually delightful. I don't like parents who let their children behave badly or those that don't give their children adequate attention or the ones that spoil their children to the extent that they never consider others.

Nope. I love my daughter and I dislike children. Totally agree with Bryony. I am moving so that I can get away from three that keep getting thrust at me.

By the way, before any witch hunts, I would say that Bryony and I would very likely be similar in that we would never harm or neglect a child, we would help a child in need but we dislike being near them - right, Bryony? I threw myself over my daughter in a bank holdup so I certainly know I was ready to die to protect her . . .they had guns and discharged one. I was the "change of life" child and my mother disliked me. A LOT. Ergo - grew up with -> children are a nuisance.

Yes, but these days parents do not instil discipline or respect for elders and find it hard to tolerate children who are left to run riot or scream and have tantrums if not given what they demand.
It is always pleasant to meet children that are polite and quiet as against those who act like brats - perhaps it is a reflection of the way the parents are.

Only my own son. He is smart, caring, wonderful, and handsome. He is in college studying to be a physicist. I am so proud of him. Other kids kind of annoy me.
