I drink my coffee really hot and always ask for it extra hot when I am out.
I let it cool for a very short time as I do not like luke warm coffee.
I also bought a machine and there was only one available that made really hot coffee and I actually returned one as the coffee/cappuccino was barely warm.
However, with black tea, I like that cooler and not over hot.
Any hot drink I like it not to burn the inside of my mouth.....
so I wait a tad, before drinking.
I only drink tea of many varieties,Unless I am drinking Iced Tea,I like my tea to be freshly brewed and hot.But not so hot that I burn my mouth and am unable to taste it!!
I am a tea person and I like my tea hot ! So when I make my tea, I tend to not waste any time while moving between kitchen to sofa/dining table.
I don't like the taste of tea, but I do drink my coffee hot. I do like iced coffee though.
Drinkable. I don't like it when liquid hurts.
I don't like to scald my mouth when I drink, so I wait.
I always ask for 'hot' coffee, cannot tolerate warm insipid (as I see it) coffee...however, I know baristas always say if it is too hot it takes away the flavour...tough!
I like it really hot and often don't drink it all as it has cooled to luke warm. The exception is my morning large cappucino which is really my breakfast. The cafe I get it at does a good job abd it jut tastes like iced coffee when it cools. It's probably a good thing as I rarely get to drink it beofre it cools - too many interruptions. Darned work!
I prefer both to be very hot! I can't really enjoy it if it's not.
yes I like my tea or coffee hot. when out I always ask for the coffee to be hot but they never seem to be able to this and it arrives warm.
I like my coffee pretty hot. If it is too hot I wait a couple of minutes for it to cool a little and then start sipping. Some cafes won't serve really hot drinks these days because they are worried about being sued if a customer spills a really hot drink on themselves. I read about this happening in USA when a woman bought a drink at the drive thru and spilt it on her lap and suffered bad burns.
Tea is to be Hot, never boiled.
Coffee - after years of office work, I am used to forgetting after the first hot sip - until it is 3-4 hours old and cold. Then I drink that and make another, to do the same again. Some habits are hard to break! Iced Coffee must be 'iced'! (with a shot of whisky) :-)
Don't drink burning hot liquids. That's just stupid.
Allow my tea to cool. Only have coffee out, so by time I've 'eaten' froth, it's just right temp to drink!
I wait for it to cool down unless I am having a "dunking session" with bickies, then the tea has to be super hot.

Nice and hot. However, not quite like my son-in-law who, must be made of asbestos . . . he drinks coffee and tea scalding hot as soon as they are poured.
I like my coffee really hot but wait a bit after taking the froth off before I drink it. I drink my black tea hot but not so I scald myself with it. Nothing worse than cold black tea, especially with lime or lemon in it.
I don't like it scalding hot, I just can't drink it at that temp, 60degrees is just a nice temp for me.
