I've seen some amazing street performers! The good ones really are fabulous, the bad ones …. well they have their own charm too. I still giggle about a woman I used to see singing in Sydney. She was hopeless!
Yes I love them. I particularly love to hear string quartets at Christmas time - there is something very gentle about them. There was a young boy that used to play his violin at Christmas in the Mall at Christmas just great.
No, on the whole I don't like street entertainers at all! If they are popular, the crowd watching them blocks the pavement and if they're not, then you are in danger of being grabbed and forced to participate in their show.

Having said that, we did stand and watch someone blowing the most amazing bubbles once, in Berlin. That was astonishing and worth standing for a long time in the cold to see.
I like seeing and watching street performers, as long as they don't try to interact with you.
I think street entertainers add to the atmosphere of the street or mall. I particularly enjoy musicians Some are talented and others are quirky. It is amazing to see some of the homemade instruments that demonstrate recycling and imagination. I like some of the unexpected combinations of instruments. One such combination was a didgeridoo and a violin. The fact this entertainment is free is a bonus.
Yes, provided they don't include animals in their shows.
