I love duck, and am thinking of making it this year at Christmas instead of a huge turkey for two people.

I adore Peking duck with that crispy skin rolled in the Asian pancake dipped in the sauce plus the other condiments.

Duck is not for everyone, however I was brought up with a lot of duck cooked by my European parents!

Duck is quite an acquired taste I think. I've never liked it.
I'm a vegetarian
I will eat it.

Duck is a little too heavy a meat for me.
No I don't cook it at home, never have.....but, it is a lovely food.

I have a son who can't get enough of it!
Nice to have at Christmas too. :)
I don't really eat duck very much. On the occasions when I have it (out at a restaurant) I have enjoyed it. But it's not something I would cook at home.
I have tasted neither.

Yes. No.
Love Peking Duck! Haven't had it for a long time! You've now whetted my appetite to have it again!
Me too. Will try to organise a family dinner at asian restaurant.
I have never cooked duck at home …but love to eat Peking duck with the pancakes and condiments. Too messy to make at home.
When I see people on TV cook duck (in cooking competitions) I am always amazed that it looks "underdone". I'm used to people saying chicken has to be well cooked and I always thought that duck would have to be too

Hi Fran........would agree with you that ANY poultry must be cooked until juices run clear.
I'm NOT a fan of 'Salmonella' by any means!

Yes. No. Yes.

There's one local Reataurant whose Chef knows how to cook a beautiful 'Confit of Duck'. If it's on the Menu, I'll order it & deliciously enjoy!

Go to Chinese Restaurant for 'Peking Duck', but haven't been there for 15 years'! MUST make effort to do so by end of this year! Slack, huh?
I would choose Peking Duck ANY DAY
over a roast! I’ve only eaten it once or twice, because I know it’s rather fattening!
