I am normally early rather than late, but I don't enjoy hanging round at airports and generally aim to arrive on time.

Nowadays it seems to take longer overseas, and when I am overseas, I tend to arrive a bit earlier in case I am not sure where I am going.

Oh! Finy, you mean in the Air Terminal, not your destination, I presume of your last sentence? Lol!

I arrive early....ish. They say you are supposed to arrive an hour before boarding, and I usually stick that. Even when I'm running late, I arrive 45 minutes before boarding.
These days it is so important to be early in case of any delays at the counter. With all the internet bookings now,any excuse seems to be fine for the airlines to charge extra if you are late, even by 2 minutes!
I like early. Cos I travel often I am a ember if a club, so I head there and read the paper before I depart
I always arrive early

No, I prefer to arrive on time. Early means too long sitting in the uncomfortable chairs in the waiting area, being bombarded by ghastly muzack and announcements whilst fending off other travellers running their suitcases over my toes....
I've never been late to an airport.
Thanks Verity - you saved me typing an answer 'cos that's exactly the way I feel about it too!

Yes because there is always some unplanned challenge to deal with and that way you are not put under the pump. Also I love watching people so it doesn't phase me to be sitting there and watching the world go by until my flight is called.
ALWAYS early!

Would rather be sitting in the QANTAS Club, being relaxed, with time 'up my sleeve', than 'rushing' to airport & being late, due maybe traffic accident en route!
I always arrive early. Don't like being on time or late because you never know what the airlines are likely to do, particularly if you travel with a cheaper airline who often over-book seats on planes (so I noticed on TV shows concerning airlines). I always take a book or purchase several magazines to read.
Usually a little bit early, particularly for international flights.
I always like to arrive early, no matter what for. It takes the stress out of the situation. I would rather be at the airport an hour early calmly sipping a coffee of watching planes land and take off than fretting in a taxi in heavy traffic.
Early, in case we can put in our tickets for an upgrade (which rarely happens!) Then we'll collect the free newspapers to read while sharing a large latte!

Timeliness is important when travelling by plane.
We always allow plenty of time to get to the Airport in case of unforseen delays.
They tell you you MUST be early.
5 years ago I missed my flight, and was not late....they just would not let me board, as they close the door at certain times.

I had to buy another Ticket too!...Thank goodness it was just interstate.

If going overseas you really should be there at least 2 hours early.
