Yes I do like them, however not cooked.
I recently put them in a meal i was makign and they were not so nice.
I like them from the tin however, and on biscuits or in a sandwich, or even in a salad.
Well, this is my weird fish thing again . . . . I don't eat oysters unless they are tinned smoked oysters . . . and only rarely. I find them sort of sweet tasting.
I have never tried them, so I couldn't really say. I prefer fresh fish generally. The only tinned foods I would have would be salmon, and my husband has tinned tuna. They are okay for a salad or a sandwich.
I haven't had them for years but used to enjoy them on a picnic with crackers. They sound horrible, and hardly resemble fresh oysters but are quite tasty.
I like John Wesf brand oysters in oil. I drain them on a paper towel and butter my biscuits and can honestly say there are never any left on the plate. Many years ago everyone was serving these but it seems to have died right off. Even I rarely have them now and I really enjoy them.
