Yes I like satay though sometimes the bought ones are too sweet.
I made my own a few nights ago and it was lower in fat and healthier than a bought one. Also I could adjust what went into it so NO sugar apart from that in the peanut butter.
This was a recipe of Hokkein noodles with vegetables and satay chicken and was delicious - will publish in a few days if you want to try it! recipeyum
I do love a peanut satay and have made my own as well. Yummy.
Sadly not for me.
I have to keep everything very 'simple', no sauce and little meat.
:( sad face
I just love a good satay and I always make my own. A good satay can be hard to find, so it is far better to make your own. The family just love the one I make. I don't put any sugar in it. At least if you make your own you can adjust the amount of peanut butter to make it more or less nutty. Absolutely delicious. There's no comparison with the bottled stuff at all. I did buy a bottled satay sauce at a market once, and tried that, but it wasn't to our family's taste, so back to my original satay recipe.
I used a bottled one many years ago and it was so vinegary . . . yuck.
We eat a lot of satay dishes in our family. I have found a couple of good commercial sauces which we use to save time and no complaints from anyone. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the varying satay meals we've eaten at restaurants which go from hot-watery to nice and thick.

I've had it for months so I just ignore it now. It is simply a lack of interest by the creators.

We eat a lot of beef and lamb satay (as well as chicken occasionally).
I have tried many, many prepared satay sauce to go with the sticks and I have made my own satay sauce a couple of times. I now only buy one brand of satay sauce and that is Yeos Brand. It's the only one that stops the arguments around the table.
I enjoy satay, but not if they are sweet. I probably made my own years ago as I don't buy many premade foods, or may have only eaten it out at a restaurant . Now my diet is mostly vegetarian I haven't had a satay for a long time. I am sure a vegetarian satay would be delicious, so I might do one in the near future.
I like it but I have never made my own from scratch
A really good not too spicy satay is yummy, ex used to make a great peanut satay one that was delicious - however I did say ex! One chinese Boss used to buy a container of satay from a restaurant and that was also good - again- no longer a boss of mine. I don't make anything any more but happy to eat when Indian neighbours feed me!
I like satay chicken skewers a lot, but have never cooked them.
I do love satay! And I sometimes make my own. I rarely buy bottled sauces - but I will often order a satay dish if we are out for dinner.
