I love crayfish (as we call it here) however have probably only ever made it once or twice when someone brought me some fresh from Rottnest Island many years ago.

Nowadays it is something I just do not buy at about $35 each.

I used to eat them regularly when I lived in the country as the local yacht club made the most delightful crayfish mornay with chips and we would often have this for Sunday lunch -inexpensive also -however those days are gone.

Well, as a seafood disliker, this is going to be weird . . . . . I love lobster! I also am very fond of Moreton Bay Bugs. I don't cook anything vaguely fishy . . . I eat lobster out at restaurants. (but I cannot eat prawns!)

what happens if you eat prawns?
by Finy
Nothing bad. I simply cannot stand them in my mouth . . . the squeaky feel makes me want to be sick. Crazy, I know :(
by Rice
Yes, especially considering you like the bugs. :P I could never understand how patrons would order those when I worked at an eatery.

When I was young and living in Victoria,we often would buy and cook Lobster! Oh Yum!!! and to die for!! In MY case literally,as I am allergic and thus ended up in hospital!!! We did not know back then that it was an allergy though! I have not touched these delicious critters for almost 40 years now.Ditto for all shellfish. So sad........Do all enjoy some for me please?!!!
I like lobster a lot, have only had it a couple of times at a fancy restaurant, and never cooked it. Honestly, I need to expand my cooking repertoire to include more seafood.
I really like lobster but I haven't cooked it myself. The only times I have had it are at fancy restaraunts or on a cruise, Just love lobster bisque. YUM !!!
I love ALL Seafood!

Had a 'Lobster Thermidore' on a Qantas flight, ex Singapore once. It was just beautiful!

Enjoyed a magnificent 'Seafood Chowder', which had a bit of everything, & was piping hot, on a late night flight on Ansett, Sydney-Melbourne, in 1992!

Now I just buy a cooked 'Muddie' or 'Bug', when I can afford, from local, well-stocked fish shop.
I love lobster, especially lobster mornay. I have only ever eaten it a few times in my life as it is really expensive.
I have never cooked lobster and maybe never will as my hubby is highly allergic to it.
If anyone ever offers it to me in my upcoming travels, I won't say no and I'll probably lick the plate afterwards!
oooh yeah, I love ém
have never cooked any
I love lobster and eat it often. At the moment prices are around $49.00 for a small cooked one so I normally buy the green ones and cook myself although buying the green lobster tails usually works out to be cheaper in the long run. I cook different meals with my favourite being something I invented myself cooking with galiano, cream and mushroom. Having said that, Balmain or Moreton Bay bugs are a sweeter meat than lobster so I buy these when the price is okay.
I love love love Lobster! Never cooked it myself though ... that's what mum's / chefs are for right? ;)
I haven't tried either...as far as I can remember. Like roast chicken, I'm not game to try cook them. These are way beyond my comfort zone.

Yes we love them, No, I've never cooked 1, but we'll always order it from the cruise ship menu, if it's on there!!!

I love lobster, but I have never cooked it myself. I would prefer to go out to a nice restaurant and have someone cook it for me. I just love seafood chowder, and I have lobster when we go cruising, on one of the many restaurants they have for passengers.
Sorry !! I just noticed that I had already answered this.
