I like lasagna as long as there is a lot of filling and it is not all pasta.
I used to make it regularly but now being alone, I find it is a lot of hassle for some reason as I do cook most nights and make some other complicated meals.
It is perhaps since I stopped eating red meat -I used to like lasagna with mince meat and plenty of it, though have made some really nice vegetarian ones in the past! Also I like chicken and mushrooms in it.
so, yes, I do like lasagna but do not order it when I am out as often there is not enough filling and too much pastry.
Have you tried a seafood lasagne, Finy? I have a great recipe up on RY.
Lasagna and I have been in a relationship for many years now. We enjoy cooking, dvds, music, reading and spending time with the dogs. Sometimes, I regret to say, I cheat. Yes, I am sorry, I know you all thought better of me but I do sneak out for a vegetable lasagna for a thrill. I'll try to do better.
Heehee . . . any chance I get . . as I sit here in my Doctor Who T-shirt from Germany. *allons-y*
I sit here in my Dr who tee shirts from England....
Gosh, we've got good tatse!
and last night he died,, i knew it was coming and so awful. not we have Msatt Smith is it....i shall miss my favourite
Yes :( David does "sad" so well. Matt Smith was a shock. I couldn't really like him until he had gone. Oh dear.
Actually i felt almost the same with Matt Smith -i started to quite like him on the last few episodes. but i like the oldie -can relate to him more than the others....
Well, I have to confess, since 1963, there has only been one (and his companion) that really made it hard to watch . . . and most people feel the same. However, my loyalty has always been to the show and the great thing is that we know they are going to regenerate at some point and be gone.
I do like it.
I love the bechamel sauce very much, and more filling, meat ect.
Don't eat it very often....so when I do have it I really enjoy. You can't beat home made.
I love lasagne.. I make my own. I make traditional, vegetarian and chicken. They are all gobbled up with much gusto !!!
I am VERY fond of lasagna, but I no longer am able to enjoy it as often as I would like to,as I am now aware of allergies to some of the main ingredients such as tomato ,onion etc which are full of salicylates!! So sad. I will indulge though if I know I shall be home all of the day following my transgression!!! I have found over the years that if I eat just very small amounts of my 'bad-for-me' foods, and do it less often, that I do not suffer as much.I am even building up a tolerance of sorts over time! I adore ALL and EVERY type of lasagna,Especially when it is home made with masses of delicious filling!
Oh yes! But only if it's my Mum's home-made one. SO good. And, sorry, but there's no such thing as 'vegetarian lasagna'. That's a contradiction in terms!
I love all sorts of lasagne. I cook my own and freeze any leftovers for another meal. I am happy to eat lasagne bought at the supermarket but like homemade better.
I'll have it once in a blue moon.
Much prefer Spag Bol!
I love lasagne and make my own with minced beef. My family prefer me to use cottage cheese instead of bechamel sauce and a good splosh of red wine. As for herbs I use fresh if I have them but each time I make it, it all depends on how it tastes to me as to how much of each herb I add to it.
who doesn't love lasagne?
Its the best comfort food to have in winter!
I am glad to say that I have never bought a store-bought one, but then again I have never had to. Thanks mum and M.I.L. I do make my own on occasion and I can't go passed a seafood lasagne. I have always thought that store-bought ones wouldn't be as nice or they would be packed with too much salt, sugar, MSG, etc.
I like lasagna and make it myself, both meat and vegetarian.
Yes I do but I dont just after I finish it everyone. It leave me full and not really content though !
Yes I do like it, but never cook it, as it would take too long to make, & anyway, I don't have an oven that works! It would now be far to much pastry/pasta for me to eat. When I do cook pasta we share 95gams of it.
rarely eat lasagna not fussed about it, having grown up not eating pasta of any kind.
I do not remember if pasta was even available in the shops or not like it is today.
