I mostly make them myself as they are nicer than the take away ones.

Sometimes I will have one in a cafe as these are also nice however as I do not eat red meat generally, I make all different sorts of vegetarian ones.

I have also started eating chicken so I make them with chicken, and also chicken, or turkey mince.

Great to be able to add what you want, and far more healthy than the bought ones.

I have never been into Take Away food,so have always made any burgers at home where I am in control of exactly what goes into them!! I have made Lentil burgers, chicken burgers, fish burgers and of course Beef burgers! I love that when I am making them myself,I can add avocado, cheese, coleslaw, potato salad,or just a basic lettuce ,tomato, and whatever sauce takes my fancy.I also like to use all different varieties of buns
I've never really been into take away burgers. I used to get the occasional one, but not often. Now that I have coeliac disease most take away is off the menu. We (well...I get my partner too!) make our own gluten free rissoles at home and use them as burgers with gluten free bread. Although I'll often not even bother with the toast / bun.
I'm not a big fan of hamburgers. I've never really liked the texture.
Me either.
I don't like hamburgers. There's too much meat. Even with vegetarian one's I'm not keen on the thickness of the burger. There's also too much bun.
When I make them myself I eliminate all this! I take most of the actual bread out of the bun and am left with a much thinner crust where the food fits nicely into. I can also vary what I put in the burger part of it as there is no meat if not using chicken.

It comes to the point where it is not really a burger anymore.
If you don't like the thick bun Bryony, try one with Turkish bread as it's much thinner and tastes great.
I've never seen them before.
I have had the odd humbargerout over the years but also used to make them myself when my son was young...haven't made any lately, much nicer homemake

I wouldn't bother making them or buying them but living with a chef makes them all kinds of amazing so sometimes I do bug him to make some. He makes the most amazing burgers, all healthy, often home grown salad too. MmmMmMm This question is making me HUNGRY!
I don't eat hamburgers but I have made them for my husband

I haven't yet mastered the art of making my own veggie burger patties. I really must get on that. We buy them from the supermarket sometimes, along with some fresh bread rolls and veggies.
Yes and yes!

I make them......but I don't put together the meat.I buy them already made.
I don't eat them, my son does......I'm not a fan to be honest.
I love hamburgers, both the takeaway kind and the homemade kind. Homemade is better because you can make it exactly how you want though. My favourite kinds at the moment are a beef pattie with cheese, lettuce, beetroot and tomato sauce, or a 'burger benedict' which is like eggs benedict but a burger (burger pattie, bacon, poached egg and hollandaise sauce). A burger with a fresh piece of fish and some coleslaw on it is great too.
I like homemade burgers but haven't made one in ages. I think we might be having homemade burgers for tea. I find it a good way to get salad vegies into youngsters. You can do so many variations to suit your taste and mood. I don't like burgers from franchise places but sometimes you get a nice one at a cafe.
Love the occasional homemade burger. As I'm not a fan of too much bread, we use Turkish bread. It's lighter & crispier & I prefer the texture.
With proper Mince!

Home made is with fresh Hamburger Bun, either Toasted or Plain, dependent on my mood!, fresh Topside A-grade Mince pattie,

I make myself with Grated Carrot, Grated Cheese, Thinly sliced fresh Mushrooms, very finely diced Brown Onion, Parsley, drops of Tabasco, Soya & Worcestershire sauces, Italian Seasoning, & one egg to bind ALL ingredients.

Once cooked, & on Bun, top with BBQ Sauce, & add whatever I feel like at time eg Sliced Tomato, Beetroot, freshest of finely chopped Lettuce. Most times don't add anything!

A really good Meal, in itself!
Bon Appetit!
Yes, I would love them without the bun. I only buy 1 once a year, & I've never made a hamburger at home.
