Animal prints have long been a popular style for many reasons. For one, they are generally expensive and considered rather exotic; hence they are a symbol of wealth and status.

I am not sure how the trend ever started, but personally I think it is hideous, to look at.I cringe when I see people dressing like that.
I do! I wouldn't wear them in an all-over look but I think they can be used in a way that looks really good.
I don't particularly like animal prints. Whilst not a print, the design is best on the animal, but not so on a human.
I find the idea of wearing fur as a fashion piece abhorrent, but I like animal prints in moderation. I recently bought lovely pair of leopard print earrings.

Generally no. I don't like wearing animal print clothes usually, but a throw rub or blanket can look quite nice.

Oh! Bryony, a throw 'rub' might be fun! Lol!

Haha!
Hmmm. I wouldn't wear fur, but I also think animal print often looks tacky (not always). Probably it's a straight dislike from me. Not my style.
Animal prints look good on some article of clothing but not so much on others. I think natural prints cannot be outdone. Nature designs are simply the best. I like animal prints on shoes, bags and belts.

As nice as they are though whenever I see animal print I am instantly reminded that an animal had to die in order for those garments to be made and worn.

Its somewhat disheartening, the prints are beautiful, however when you think of the number of tigers that remain in the wild it takes away from the glamour of the animal print fashion. Unless of course the animals died of natural causes.

I would however prefer not to endorse the sale of garments made from animal skin. Especially if the animal was killed specifically for their skin.

If the skin was derived from an animal that is used for food such as with a pig , goat or cow, then that would be a different case.
Not any more -I used to like leopard print however think it is now too garish.

I don't think I would wear any animal prints.

It can look good and the fakes these days are so much better and "natural" looking, however a big NO to the real the fur prints now seeing, they are hugely endangered.
That's a 'yes' from me!
Got a leopard print jacket, handbag, scarves, boots!
It's such a symmetrical pattern & very pleasing to the eye!
