Do you like a controversy?

I do like a good debate.

But! I draw the line the minute it gets out of control,and I walk...Big Time.

I enjoy debates with people who are able to remain reasonable, not get defensive and enjoy the skill of critical thinking. If they resort to shouting, interrupting and personal attacks I would much prefer to go to the zoo and listen to the chimps scream at each other.

I think a good debate is healthy and mentally stimulating.
The parties that make up that debate is very important, need to be open minded and rational.Once emotions start running high logic goes out the window and I go out the door...Its time to leave.
I find certain topics a no go zone. I am selective in my choice of debates.

I like a good debate, but not with somebody who overpowers and always has to be right, even when they're clearly not. That is super annoying.

Sometimes I think I thrive on it!

I don't really like it so much as I have got older, as now, all I want, is peace.

If there are a lot of people around and they are arguing, say politics, I will withdraw as everyone gets so excited and no one seems to listen to the other people.

Yes - I don't mind a bit of controversy. I think a good debate can be really stimulating providing it doesn't get out of hand. I think discussion on differing viewpoints can be really healthy and certainly gives your brain a workout.

Debates are fine within reason, but, I don't like when things get heated. I avoid situations like that
