Of course! Pets are members of the family, just like anyone else. I don't see the point of having a pet if you don't want to have snuggles together. I find great comfort in having a soft warm little body pressed up against the back of my knees purring gently.

There is a well-known rule with cats that you need to have one more bed in the house than cats, so you shouldn't have three or four cats in a three bed house...
I've not had many pets, but I have never and would never allow a pet so sleep on my bed. As cute and cuddly as they are they are still animals. They should have a little bed for themselves.
No.

If I had one now, that would be a 'Negative'!

I love animals, but not to sharing my bed.
Now these are big bedfellows!
lol...lol....I know! I LOVE Great Danes :)

Only my cat, the dog is too big and annoying, but I love it when the cat snuggles up on my feet.
Yes. Both my cat and dog (small) sleep on my bed. Neither sleep near my face so they don't bother me. My dog has his own bed which he naps in during the day but at night he likes to sleep on my bed. I like the company of my pets.
I used to let both my dogs sleep on a blanket on my bed.

However after a while my old dog kept creeping closer to me and off HIS blanket.
In the end he was trying to sleep with his head on MY pillow and I felt so sorry for him when I had to growl (LOL) at him in the middle of the night for getting off his own blanket.

So I stopped it altogether as I do not like dog hair in my bed.

Bought two more dog beds and put them in my room so they could sleep near me, but not with me!

No. You know what, if ya sleep with dogs ya get fleas.
Only if you're too cheap to have them on Comfortis or the like. Hahahaha. ^_^

yeah but, yeah but….I can't afford that treatment for me too when I get the fleas from that little cat !!

Yeah, these days you need to rob a bank to see a specialist . . . !

My gorgeous Siamese is asleep, under the doona, next to me as I (try to) type!
He REALLY loves to be warm! And smooched to, of course!
He's very clean in his habits' & is given his treatments as required, so NO fleas'!
I've never had a cat sleeping IN my bed, but certainly when we had a cat, she slept ON the bed. Or on my hip, if I was sleeping on my side. Emma loved sleeping on my hip. My hip didn't like Emma sleeping there though, but Emma didn't care. She was a cat ...
Oh! Carolyn, I've had cats since I was 8yo! My Siamese was TWICE State Champion Male Kitten! Have had 'moggies' as well. Much loved, of course! My darling boy was with me for 19half years, had renal failure at 21half! I rescued him when he was just literally skin & bone; he was a magnificent British Blue, & LOVED having a shower, under warm water, & Sunlight Soap! And eating pressure-cooked Rabbit! Cheers!

My cat sleeps on her bed and blanket on my bed. As it becomes cooler she snuggles closer to me and often wakes me during the early hours of the morning for rubs under the neck. If it's really cold she will wake and head near my face purring to indicate she wants to sleep under the sheet and goes right down to the end of the bed to sleep.
LOL. 2 big dogs. Sometimes I have to get up and go around to the other side and get back in as one of them likes to shove me out. The other is very well mannered and curls up at the foot of the bed. Somebody else in the house got the habit going whilst I was on night shift!

Our biggest dog, in fact the older brother of the puppy in the photo here, sleeps in our room at night, and often gets on the bed during the night ...
Our pet cat sleeps with us. He cuddles right close
to me. After all, he is a member of our family.
Yes, my two little canines sleep on our bed, and yes they are spoilt rotten.
