I learned basic belly dancing. It is a lot of fun.
I would love to do belly dancing but am not game to go on my own, so trying to convince one of my sisters to come along. She insists she can't come because she can't move her hips!

I learnt Bharatha Natyum, an Indian classical dance style & Kandian dancing, a Sri Lankan dance style for many years. Then went on to learn a bit of Salsa.
I love Bharat Natyam dance..it's so beautiful! Quite a few of my friends are from India and many of them learnt it when they were younger.
Yes. I do English Country Dance ( some are like the ones you see in Jane Austen movies.) Great fun, some exercise and keeps the brain working.
I learnt basics of jive, salsa and waltz. Few levels of belly dance. But haven't practised since long time. So don't think I remember anything of it.
Know, I don't know how to do any form of dance, although I can recognise some when performed.
No, I have not learnt dancing.
I use to know Hawaiian dance...but that was many years ago.
I wasn't trained, just people would say I was 'good at it'.
Having a love for it, I just kept learning and got better.
All to do with the hip motion-plus-feet and hands.It is not as easy, as it looks.


I use to attend a Croatian folkloric dance class when I was at high school, so I remember a little bit of that. I also frequented swing classes for a while, that was a lot of fun.

Yeah I do .learnt it when I was young
When I was younger I learnt ballet and jazz ballet. However, when I got older and my school work got more demanding I unfortunately had to give it up, along with my violin lessons, which I really loved.
Learnt various 'ladylike' dances at School, for the Grade X Dance.

Went out with a guy who was a Dance Instructor at a Dancing School, so went along there, where I learnt more dance steps, & found it very enjoyable.

My daughtwr did Ballroom Dancing for a few years, won trophies as she was excellent, then lost interest.
