I have blood tests more regularly than once a year, as have a problem with thyroid.

I do also have cholesterol, sugar levels, kidney etc -all the recommended things, tested once a year.

Unfortunately I inherited the "bad" genes of both parents!

I've never had mine checked, but I probably should. I keep forgetting that as I get older I need to be more conscious of these things.
I don't plan on doing so, but if the need arises or I think something may be afoot, then I do.

Just had all mine done for the first time ever! Good to keep an eye on things as we get older!
Most definitely YES!! And I always have a diabetes check as well ever since my dad suggested I might do it because my aunt, his sister, was diagnosed a few years back! I am on awful, though necessary, medication which requires that I have full blood counts and Liver Enzyme tests done every 4 weeks,so it is no bother to have the other tests done when necessary!
I avoid doctors like the plague. I got my cholesterol checked this year for the very first time in my 48 year life. Figured it was about time. And it was fine.

No I don't do regular blood tests

Most definitely!!! Due to my illness,I also have to have full blood counts.liver enzyme tests and a few others besides!! Even if I was more healthy,I would insist on regular checks for cholesterol and blood pressure,as well as Diabetes checks. These can be responsible for so many connected ailments and even lead to death,so for the sake of a half hour dr's visit, would you not prefer to look after your most precious possession: your health?
I have six monthly blood tests for cholesterol etc.

I know the tiny sample is sent away when I make my blood donation, every 10 weeks or so. so I'm sure they'd let me know then, if something was wrong with me. I don't have any other blood tests.
