I have always liked having short nails, and very clean.
For a woman, I guess not really the norm, with all the lovely products that are on the market.
Plus nail polish of every colour.
I use little tiny scissors to cut my nails down.
Then file them, and buff.
Love using a nail brush, to keep under the tiny bit of nail I do have, nice and clean.
The feeling of scrubbing my nails has always been there, since a kid.
Then again I can hear my teacher saying to me, and all the kids ''show me your nails''.
Well it was 1959! life was very different.
Long dirty nails on any child was a sign of neglect, and I remember my mother Always cutting my nails.
My how times have changed....the other day I saw a Dad take his little girl into a 'nail-bar.
He told her to go pick out a colour.......she would have been all of say 7-8 yrs old.
He looked way out of his comfort zone, but it did give me a huge smile.
Life changes, and some times a tad for the better :)
