Do you have less energy on very hot days?

I am not so bad when it is a dry heat, but when it becomes humid AND 35°, then I, and most others even the younger ones, in our shop, are zapped!

So it is actually not so much the heat for me, but the humidity which luckily Perth does not get too often.

We are currently experiencing awful humidity however -like living in Sydney where I vowed I would not go back to in February due to the humidity.

Due to illness I tend to not have a great deal of energy at most times,but the humid heat we get here in the tropics is PARTICULARLY draining, and more so as the years pass me by!!!!

Certainly do. No doubt that is why some countries have an afternoo siesta, to combat the heat of the day lethargy.

Yes, I am always amazed that we don't have a siesta, or a down time, during the heat of say, February. In Australia we just soldier on and wear it like a badge of honour. I think it is a sign of stupidity. I don't believe we work in partnership with the weather here. Think it goes back to convict days.

You would be hard pressed to find anyone who didn't.
Plus if one is over 55 it takes out the energy one has.

I'm really struggling on hot days, to get anything done. :(

Yes, when it is a few days of a heat wave and the humidity is very high. If I go for a swim that always helps.

I spent my first christmas in Queensland Gold Coast visiting our daughter. I had great plans with all the things to see and do. What did we achieve? A big fat zero !! I have never experienced such humidity, it was completely exhausting.

I have no energy on a very hot day, just sit down and hope for a cool change in the evening.

If it is hot and humid, I definitely feel drained, so try to stay inside and drink lots of water. If we are having a long stretch of hot days is when I feel it most. Emergency services tend to warn us to stay inside and check with our neighbours on days of extreme heat. I have had heat stroke before, and it is not very nice.
