Yes, I do after a bad accident where a vertebrae was crushed.

I think i have got used to pain!
Not nice but I'm sure there are many others in this same situation, and many far worse pain than I have, so I try not to complain.

I don't, but both my parents have arthritis. It is worst for my dad because he's a postman constantly going up and down stairs. He takes a lot of pain killers.
I have back pain that stops me in my tracks some days but I'm lucky that it doesn't prevent me from doing much.
No, I don't but my husband and his grandfather both do. It doesn't stop them doing what they love, but it does make it difficult.

I live with someone who 'is' a chronic pain at times :)

That's even worse...
I don't suffer from chronic back ache but I do get moderate back ache from having bad posture

Unfortunately I suffer with the dreadful chronic pain in m,y entire body due to a very rare form of Arthritis which was not diagnosed correctly until I had been suffering for almost 40 years! Back in the 70's I was told I had 'Growing Pains',but it was proven to be somethiong far worse! I have the very best doctors and specialists who take incredibly wonderful care of me.I have always smiled my way through it all,as a way of hiding my condition form the world at large, and I do tend to always see my cup as being half FULL rather than half EMPTY,as this allows my smiles to be genuine. I also take life one day at a time.Whatever I do not get done today,I shall try to do tomorrow! I have many interests, and I use my brain rather than brawn these days!! A positive attitude is such a bonus, even though sometimes the pain is totally overwhelming! I think of all those who are so much worse off than I am,and count my blessings.
Have degenerating spine and bulging disc and have difficulty in walking or standing for any length of time, have constant aching pain, and am not able to work although Centrelink think I can. I see all these cures and operations on A Current Affair, but when I ask my specialist he says there's nothing he can do. Will keep asking I guess and hope that something new comes up.
same as you was told operation which could not be guaranteed so my answer was no. had terrible trouble at night also had pain down my left leg could never find the right position to sleep, anyway was sent to an Physio. who said it would take a long time well at three visits a week (Costly) hot back on my back with very cold air blasting down on me from an air conditioner, and exercises, I decided I could this at home, took about a year, but success, still stiff when I get up in the morning but that soon passes.
I also had to take prescription pain killers and if I needed extra to take nurofen as a top up. which I always tried not to do.
That was about 20 years ago

Neither, thank goodness!
I have lower back pain sometimes, but I see my chiropractor regularly and that helps immensely. My sons girlfriend has a broken back in several places so she is in terrible pain and is on the strongest pain killers. They don't help much. She is a lovely person and very positive. She does her best to live a normal life. She isn't able to work as she can't sit or stand for any length of time.

I have flat feet and suffer from plantar fascists. When that flares up (and I don't know what I do to cause it to flare up), the pain is terrible, especially when I get out of bed in the morning. Is slows me down in my daily chores.I hate it.
