Yes, I have been sick and a few of my friends have gone out of their way to help me and drive me to hospital, go to drs visits with me etc, so I am taking those to Crown Casino buffet for my birthday end of June.
Sorry to hear you've been crook Finy. I hope you are on the mend. Enjoy your special time at Crown Casino.
I'm looking forward to a teddy festival a the Harry Potter Studio Tour which I'll be going to in a few months.
Hi Finy. Sorry to hear you have been unwell.
We are looking forward to an overseas holiday to Canada and Alaska in a matter of a few weeks. Picking up the tickets tomorrow. Very exciting. Coming up so quickly !!!
Love to all x
you lucky thing! sounds great - enjoy! currently it is 2° here and feels like .08 so dont think i will even venture out to walk the dogs!
Always looking froward to our NEXT cruise!! I think It will be a Dec 2019 cruise, Melbourne return. I like these better than the Sydney (NSW) returns as we can visit our daughters & granddaughters, before & after the cruises, but they don't go far; only to NZ or the South Pacific, but even those are better than...nowhere! (It's now July 2019 as I write this.) My husband hasn't exactly said YES to it, but heres hoping!!!
Hope you get to go for the Melbourne return trip. Please do post some feedback. We have done only one cruise and it was in Europe - Medditerenean. Simply loved it.
We have been getting work done in our garden. I'm looking forward to it being finished
Yes - I'm meeting up with two friends I met whilst backpacking in Portugal years ago. We have kept in touch throughout the years and now they are coming here to Australia and we're meeting up in Queensland in Sept/Oct (2019). One is from the USA and the other NZ. Will be great to see them again, and especially as I've lost 12+kg's, so want to 'show off' my achievement! :)
Hi Poppy, I hope you had a great time with your friends who you were meeting up with Sept/Oct 2019! And that was pretty neat, you losing all of those 12 + kilos. WOW. Did your friends even recognise you when you met up? How long did your friends stay in Australia? That was good you were able to do that, before Co-vid set in! Cheers, Miro
I have a long term goal I am looking forward to achieving. We bought 90 acres of land earlier this year..we plan to build a shed with a weekender, then sell the home I've lived in most of my life and build our new house. It will take a couple of years I think. I have a lot to do to downsize, but I have a goal.
Yes, to see my daughter happily married and settled in life.
So sorry to hear about your sickness Finy! Hope you are feeling better now. Take Care and God Bless.
Yes. I have three concerts to go to, one agricultural show, a woodturning exhibition and a luncheon with my old workmates. That's a lot for me as I am an old stay-at-home usually.
Hope you're recovering nicely Finy. It might seem an unusual thing to look forward to, but it's being able to bend to put on socks and sneakers with more flexibility after my recent knee replacement without cramping under the ribs and torturing myself to get same on.
