I had several inside and one started to die so I put it outside.
It flourished until "the rains came" (as per that ad!) and then the snails also came, and now it is but a shadow of its former self, having been eaten away to almost nothing!
I was given an orchid from my daughter in law for Mothers Day so that is the only one I have left inside.
I also had a glass terarrium with cacti inside but alas, this too died!
We grow herb plants- rosemary, mint, parsley - and they all have their own cute, little pots that we've painted :)
Yes I just love my indoor plants....they give me much pleasure...I have a couple of succulents, a monsteria, and a couple of others I can't remember the names of! They are artistic the way they hang and soften an area....when little new shoots/leaves appear I get very excited...(some might say, get a life yello!!) but I don't care.
I always USED to have live plants indoors, but now Idon't/I admit though that every single day,I cut fresh flowers from myt garden and enjoy these indoors!!
I adore fresh flowers od all types:roses, hibiscus, orchids,Gardenia,Flowering herbs such as tarragon and lavender, chrysanthemums,pansies,frangipani... ANY flowers which are in bloom, really. When I worked,I was known for the fabulous fresh blooms which I always took in from home or collected on my walk to get there!! When I had live plants they were always ones with colour or pretty formationn of leaves.
I used to have a jungle inside my home. I had tonnes of plants. When we moved I gave most away. We live in a tiny flat now and the only indoor plant I have is a bamboo. Have some palms on my back deck though.
I have a little maidenhair fern in my bathroom. That's it at the moment.
We have quite a few plants inside, as they're natural air purifiers and are an affordable and attractive way to decorate the home. Unfortunately I don't know the names of any of them, though!
A beautiful lily lives in my kitchen. It gets a good amount of sunlight and has white flowers in warmer months.
I don't have any plants inside the house
No, I have the blackest thumb you could ever imagine. It's actually a goal of mine to change this as I would really like to have a garden, and grow some of my own fruits, vegetables and herbs. I'm going to get there, but hopefully I don't have to sacrifice too many plants along the way.
An ornamental chilli plant on the front door step (for luck and welcome) mint, and something with white flowers in an orange pot that I was given for mothers day. Looks nice out there. The mint tastes better though! herbs make great pot plants.
I don't have any plants inside anymore, I kept forgetting to water them!
I only have a succulent inside; I've only had it 12 days but it's grown a good 2 centimeters in height.
No. Not interested. Bloomin' nuisance!
Plants live in garden, outside!
I buy one bunch of Carnations fortnightly from Woolies to have in the Kitchen to look at, & I love their perfume!
I have one large ivy that I love. I do take all my geraniums in over winter also but they are outside now that the frost is past.
No, we don't have any inside anymore, as there's no room to put them anywhere! Many years ago I had some inside, but they kept dying from being over watered!!!
No, I don't have any pot plants inside the house, because there's nowhere to put them! When I DID have a couple, like YEARS ago, they always died after a few months, even though i was watering them, so I must have been watering too much!
No I don't have any pot plants inside the house, I tend to forget to water them unfortunately. It's not to say that I don't like them.
