Yes, I have three - i only see two however.
I have one grandson who stays over the weekend every second week - 2nd and 4th of the month it HAS to be - no idea why!
Perhaps because he is regimental like I am!
He is 9 and my granddaughter is 11.
Not having any. I have a grand-dog though.
LOL - guess I also have a grand dog!
Oh!! . . and a grand-bird. LOL
Thank you Rice. 'Mimi' was suggested by the receptionist at an art gallery that I visit as much as possible just down the road from our daughters house, so I go down there to check out the exhibition that's showing, before I pick up our grand-daughters, to take them over to our other daughters house for the week-end.
Our first grandchild is due in less than a week now. It will be a boy. We are all very excited !!! So, any appointments from now on may have to be cancelled at any time, in case she gives birth.
Very exciting for you all :)
I was old at 63 when our 1st grand daughter was born, but their other grandma (who they call Nanna), is 19 years older than me! I'll be counting down the days until your little grandson is born! All the best.
Thank you Miro. That means a lot. Four days to go, if she goes on time.0
Yes, we have 2. 2 granddaughters, aged 8 & 8 months & the month 1 is 4 & 8 months. We only see them a few times a year, & take them to our other daughters house in Melbourne for the week-end, but we have the tiny videos they insist on making, on my phone, & they make us smile! I didn't want to be called Granny, Grandma, or Nanna, so I'm Mimi! And I also have a...(not a dog, but a Grand....husband!)
Oooh! I hate being called Granny!! I don't have any (as per my answer) but HIS grandchildren call me Granny. . . . which is why I moved far away. . . . especially as I made it clear that I HATE that appellation.
By the way . . . MIMI is fantastic! :-))
My daughter in law says that we are too young to be called Granny, so Nanna it is when my little grandson is born, hopefully in 4 days !!!
Rice you might just come to love them. You never know.
