There is nothing better than fresh vegetables, especially during summer. Do you have a vegetable garden? Is it in pots or in your garden?

We don't have a vegetable garden, but we do grow vegetables and fruit in summer. Last year it was tomatoes, strawberries, and herbs.
My back garden is completely full of fruit trees and vegetables. i grow everything in raised beds and i work along permaculture principles. No chemicals and companion planting. The quality of the soil being the most important part of gardening and growing fruit and veg successfully. Last night i cooked tea with everything coming from my garden including the roast chicken. I love the fact i can just go out to my back garden and pull up carrots, aubergines, cucumbers, chillies, Strawberries, Turmeric, ginger, blueberries, lettuce, rocket, water cress, Bananas. pineapples the list goes on. i know exactly how many air miles my food has travelled NONE and that it's all organic.
I love gardening
I don't have a green thumb at all. The only plants that can survive me are succulents.
No not at the moment. My aunty has grown a beautiful organic vegie garden on the Central Coast.
No Veg garden! Because it would seem I are growing these?!@#*?
they are everywhere!!!!!!

And everyone knows, you can't grow veg when ya growing these?
Even if you have no idea, how they got there.
We grow mostly veg in our garden - potatoes, spinach, lettuce, tomatoes, cucumbers, beans, shallots and lemons. My husband and his grandfather do most of the hard work, but I'll do some of the picking. I'll have to learn too because I would love to grow my own food when we find our own place to live.

I have a tomato plant growing. It hasn't fruited yet, hopefully it will soon. My dad has turned his whole backyard into a vegetable garden, growing spinach, lettuce, beans, pumpkin and herbs.
Not veggie garden, but we do have herbs growing in our backyard :) It's perfect to add to veggie dishes - coriander, mint, rosemary and basil.
No we dont have vegetable garden at home. But I would love to have one.
We tried to grow vegetables out of pots. And it was a complete failure - all 3 times! ;(
I tried a veggie garden for many years, but have mainly given up. All I was doing was feeding the local wildlife that prowls around at night.
I sure do -have lovely tomatoes, cucumer, red capsicum, beetroot, lettuce, parsley and coriander.

I have a vegie garden and love freshly picked produce. I also grow some herbs. I enjoy homemade soups and salads.
We grow seasonal veggies and herbs in raised garden plots. It's so satisfying eating what you grow because the taste is so different.

Unfortunately not, as we don't have enough sun because of all our overhanging tress.

P.S. And then there's the possums! I have a hard enough time saving my 3 little pots of herbs from them. They're sitting in our tinny, with a wire fence around them!
