I have an I Phone 5 and yes, I do have problems typing on it.
Although I have got used to it to a degree, I still find i make mistakes when I type. I am used to typing without looking however even though I do not have large fingers, I still have problems.
I do not know how the young kids can go so fast on phones -I can go fast on a keyboard but not phones.
A lot of young people go so fast with using these items, because,THEY CANNOT SPELL!!!! Or they use the popular 'Text-speak' which I so totally and utterly detest just about me than anything else in today's era of mobile communication!!!!! Language and writing has always been one of my genuine passions and I simply REFUSE to use this phonic style of writing and spelling.
I meant to type 'Just about MORE than anything else' See what I mean? Any typing is very awkward for me!!!
I do not have a smart phone at all anymore, and a lot of the reason is because I cannot use them easily with my severe arthritis in my entire body.I do have just a basic pre-paid mobile phone for when I am away from the house.Even this is difficult for me to use,and it has large keys!!!!But it is only for emergencies.
When my son was up here and my laptop died,he lent me his Ipad.It totally did my head in as I just found the touch screen so difficult for my hands and fingers!! I do not have any real need for a mobile/smart phone as I am home so much of the time.My land line and my laptop do me just fine, thanks.
I have now become pretty used to it so am not bad...I have to liaise with clients this way a lot.
I'm able to type as fast as some on my smart phone but I'm quick enough
I don't have many problems with it but I do have to concentrate on what I'm typing. I have a Nokia.
Oh yes. Lots of problems! I find smart phones utterly baffling and typing on them is just one more obstacle to using them.....
I fell in love with the 'Alcatel' mobile phone.
I got one for my last birthday, huge buttons love it!
No.
Don't have one for THAT very reason!
Have ITablet, much better to see what's on screen!
Yes; but I think it's my fault for not wearing my glasses not the phones fault.
I don't have an iphone, just the basic Nokia and with sms/Facebook messages, I get to see only two lines of text at a time when typing so it takes a bit to remember what I've said.
I don't use mine for email. It's bad enough trying to send a SMS without constantly hitting the key next to the one I want to use and my fingers aren't large only what I consider normal.
Yes any Cel phone,
I suffer from W.F.S. (Wide Finger Syndrome), which causes me to depress more than one letter at a time when texting.
It mainly seems to be a male thing.
Any suggestions to help would be appreciated, I use a small scribe to tap the keys at present but it is so slow.

Yes, I certainly would have a problem, typing on the small screen, that's why I don't do it. With cataracts in both eyes, I need a magnifying glass to read anything that small e.g. newspaper print. On here I can enlarge the wording, before I type.
