Yes I have several ladders in my garage, and I also have one of those fold down ones (fixed) built in, that leads to the roof however I am loathe to climb a ladder unless it was a real emergency and cannot think of one that would actually make me go up a ladder more than about 2 rungs.

I do have several step stools but can still only go up about two!

#Ditto Finy . . . !! LOL. I have a ladder but would be useless trying to get past two rungs. I use the folding step stool and if I can't reach with that . . . it's "too bad, so sad".

Yes. We have a couple of ladders down in the shed. I would probably be fine to use it, as long as it isn't too high up, and the ground is sturdy underneath. Any jobs that require a ladder are usually done by my husband, so I don't think I would ever need to use one.
I have a 3 step one, but as for the long ladders No! not at my age, big no-no.
As I get older I loose balance, just walking a straight line is hard enough :(
We have a ladder leaning up against a hard to get to tree which is on a steep slope in the garden! It's been there for years! We have another 1 lying on it's side on the verandah, where it's been for years. Could I climb 1? I'm lot older than Jonaja, so the answer for me, is also a big NO. Not even if my life depended on it! So it's DITTO for me as well!

Honestly Miro, I totally agree . . . if my life depended on it I don't think a ladder would help me. Note to self *make sure near death experience does not involve ladders*

Yes, but I think it'd be too heavy for me to pull out on my own.

yes different ladders 4 jobs 2 b done i have no fear 2 use climb etc
Yes, we have numerous - small, medium & large. Or should that be short, average & tall?! Happy (& capable) to use any of them.
Yes, I have several. One time I used my large one to get on my roof so I could check the solar hot water thermostat, when I went to get down, found I couldn't reach the top rung. The ladder easily reached the facia and was firm, but I had nothing to hold onto to get down! Ladders need to go much higher than the roof so there is something to hold onto while you step onto it to get down. Mine was easy to get up but I couldn't get down :(
But........ I had my ph in my pocket so rang a neighbour who had the RIGHT size ladder. He came with his ladder and I got down, no problems. He just had a silly grin on his face and never asked any questions. Diplomatic man. ;-/
Valued his life. Haha :-))))))
