I have one that I have been friends with (this year) for 51 years.

We met in Primary school in the playground. She had a YoYo and I wanted to play with it, so she let me.
I lost it down the drain, and she forgave me...She is still to this day my very very best girlfriend, and last night we text each other till 2.am in the morning!
She is 1 year older than me, but I'm smarter....lol
We had a ball growing up, and this morning she said to me, why don't we get a place and grow old together, and look after each other, she will be 62 in Sep.
I said...well when my last son leaves home, we will. That could be a few years, but I hope and pray she will not die before then.

We have had our share of fights, and tears, and tantrums....but we are 51 years strong, and nothing will ever stop that.
We did loose contact twice in that time for a few years, but we always find each other. We always talk to each other like sisters, and we both know we have been blessed to have a long friendship.Ours is one of total respect, and we just know that with each other, we are very comfortable. Our memories of our mothers taking us out for play dates, was a great time at the beach.
She is left handed, I am right and between us, we shared on pair of skates in 1964, up and down the street. They were amazing fun times.
Yes I do. We are friends since more than 10 years and been with each other through thick and thin. Presently we are away due to geographic reasons and I miss her dearly.
I have several best friends. Some I see regularly, others a couple of times a year.
Over the years I have made some solid friendships. I can't point to one and say she is my best friend for all of them are equally special to me. But if a husband can be put to the category of a best friend, My husband definitely is my best friend 😊

Yes my childhood friend is my best friend. She is in Dubai and I miss her a lot. But thanks to the social networking , we are in touch with each other on a regular basis.
I've several good friends, but have one 'best' friend.
We started in Grade I together, & have been friends ever since.
We always tried to beat each other for First Place, in school exams, & Elocution exams! After all those years', I think we ended up half & half!

We laugh about it now! We'd such good times in 'little' school, Grades I to IV. Then progressed through grades V to XII. We both had our fair share of teenage drama's, but we're survivors!

She's a Psychologist, in private practice, now.
We get to meet-up every so often, but, of course, text continuously, as one does these days!

Here's to Good, Long, Friendship(s)!
Cheers!
