Do you have a beer after doing yard work?

I'm more likely to have a glass of wine, but I hardly drink these days. I plan on rectifying that over xmas though!

For Aussie men, yes it is a tradition.

I don't really do yard work. But the other day I spent 2 hours in the garden in the midday sun (stupid I know!) - and I very very very much enjoyed my beer after that! I'm not much of a beer drinker but that was just lovely!

You can just say I don't drink. I don't consume alcohol at social gatherings. Maybe I would have one beer for the year if I visit my mother in law's home.

No I do not drink and in particular would not drink beer as I do not like the taste of it.

I DO agree that is typical Australian male thinking, that it is tradition to have a beer after doing work in the garden.
