Do you grow your own herbs?

I did!
I love Mint...but a bug got to it...and it went to God.
So I gave up.
Now I just grow plants.

No, yet I'd love to though - as well as getting back into growing some organic vegetables. Just plants for now too.

Last year we planted some rocket and parsley in a trug. We used the rocket for salads and the parsley as a treat for our guinea pigs. It worked out very well. herbs are expensive, and the seeds ended up producing heap loads.

I have killed my own herbs. I will probably attempt it again sooner or later. I can't grow them outside here or the possums eat them and the ones I had in indoor pots weren't getting enough sun.

Not at the moment. I must get into it again because it makes cooking more interesting when you've got fresh herbs to hand. You can just be struck by inspiration and go pick off what you need, which is much better than having to plan it and then go to the shops for a sprig of parsley or something.

I tried! I had a long pot with serveral different herbs in it. I named it Herbie as well. I was really excited when they started to spourt and grow, however, after it sprouted it did not seem to grow anymore. I kept watering it and leaving it in the correct sunlight, however, it just stop and died. I haven't given it another go yet. When I have a garden, I'll give it another go.

Yes, my housemate grows rosemary, thyme and coriander in our backyard. It is such a beautiful feeling to have them fresh from the garden in your food - the magic of taste!
