Yes, we donate to Drs. Without Borders (really admire and respect these people, as opposed to a drs. visit, where they just tap on the computer and offer a prescription, and won't even go to a rural area to work), donate to an animal shelter, and have educated a young girl in East Timor, give to the voluntary firefighters.
I give regularly to the Heart Foundation, a Pet Rescue organisation, plus occasionally to a few others.

However I find that once I give, they are phoning me every few months, which is really annoying.

However I know the money is often for a very good cause and many people have far less than I do.

I give an annual donation to Dogs' Trust.
Sadly No.
Not enough to go around at this point in my life.Esp now after last nights Budget news.
Again, that's why I didn't vote for the monkey.

We try to give where we can. We give to the Red Cross and cancer research when we come across them.

Yes, they do a lot of good work in the community which wouldn't get done otherwise. I give to cancer research and a variety of special days that different institutions have.
Yes I do, the thing is I then forget to keep the receipts for tax time.
Sometimes.. but I always have monthly direct debits to my faves such as RSPCA
Yes Definitely!! I was helped when Aaron was a baby with Asthma,by their wonderful association,so I donate to them,as well as various Cancer groups, Heart Foundation,The Wilderness Foundation,Salvation Army,Medcine sans Frontiers, RSPCA, and MANY others. I may not have much to give these days now that I cannot work, but I still share in these cases.
I give cash donations via electronic transfer (as that seems to be the way of things these days) to DV Connects Pets in Crisis which is for pets of families suffering from domestic violence and need to be fostered to ensure their safety.
I also support the Redcliffe Area Youth Space's 'Together We Can' fund which is money that goes to kids who are the victims of domestic violence for them to have a chance at a normal life and doing fun things. Unfortunately, I am not always in a fiscal position to support them every fortnight, but I would love to.

I have to say that I absolutely despise being approached in the streets by those people who want to sign my up to direct debit for a year or two. I get a bit annoyed by this as it is so pushy and they won't accept a couple of cents. They want your credit card or bank account details. I find that manipulative and affronting.
No, i dont I prefer to give money to individuals. Some many seem to misuse the funds.
