Yes. Even when it's something I ordered it still feels a bit like I'm getting a present.

I get quite excited but not half as excited as my son - we had three deliveries on Sunday and by the third he was so hyper, the delivery man could hear him long before we opened the door..... and he (my son that is!) was jumping up and down so much that he couldn't hold the parcel when the delivery man gave it to him :D

It depends. If I ordered it myself, I know what is in there and I am just glad it's finally here. I think I would be excited if I was not expecting anything, which does not happen a lot.
