I often "think" of doing it but rarely do it unless it is in the main room.
The one in the garage is filthy and each time I come home I think "I must clean that" , get in the door, say hello to my two anxiously waiting darling dogs, and the light switch is forgotten yet again.

The ones that I see regularly in the kitchen and living room I do every time I see dirt.

It is quite surprising how they can get marks over them.

Funnily enough,I noticed how grimy they were the other day,and I immediately had to wipe them down!!! ALL of them!! Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!!
Usually they are NEVER my priority!! but they really annoyed me this time when I saw the stae of them!
Yes. Quite often. A little Isocol does amazing things with light switches and power points. I hate grubby light switches.

The minute I see anything on it, or my keyboard for the puter, it gets a big clean.
I use the little brushes for teeth cleaning, they do a wonderful job even for keyboards.
There was a time when I did that every week, now I pretty much only do it when someone in the house is sick (especially with something like gastro).
yes that's a great idea too....

I clean the bathroom switches weekly to keep the rooms hygienic. The rest of the switches in the house get done once or twice a year at most. That's all.
We’ve been in our latest house, since early June,
1979, & I’ve only wiped the kitchen power points VERY occasionally!!! Ah, I’m so, so lazy!
When I notice they need a clean otherwise it's out of sight, out of mind.
Yes, especially when I have guests stay over, like remote controls they have the highest amount of germs and spread easily.
Whenever I think to.
