Mad Mouse

Do you ever go on rides (mad mouse, dodgem cars, ferris wheel etc) at the annual show in your city or at a country show? Do you go on rides at other places which have this type of entertainment? If you do go on rides, is it for your own pleasure or to look after children?

I have not been on one of these rides since I was child.

I am not keen on the rides at shows. In the past I have gone on the ferris wheel with children because they needed an adult with them but I was glad to get off. As a teenager I went on a few rides, nothing too scary, with friends but didn't enjoy the rides much.
I like the Waltzer, but otherwise I do not like fair rides.
Not heard of a 'Walzer', Bryony, what type of ride is it?

Wikipedia can probably give a better explanation of the walzter than I can. Here you go: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Waltzer
No not any more.
I know my limits, sadly.
I was always the one to go on any of them, 25 yrs ago!
Just loved the rides :)

I would if they weren't always to expensive!

Yes. I love rides; they make me feel alive.

I used to always when I was younger, but now I do not go to shows, and even if I did I would not go on these awful rides!!

Only if I found the lovely old 'Spinning or Swinging Tea Cups ride, & have not seen them for years. Otherwise, leave the stomache churning stuff to kids.
Ah! 'Mad Mouse', that brings back memories! As was competing in Equestrian events at the Show, my jodhpurs used to get dirty from the hessian sacks used!

The 'Merry-go-Round' is about my speed now! But as a teenager, went on everything, as one did, & loved it! Never got sick!
If I take my Kwells motion sickness tablet, then yes I certainly do. Without that tablet however, I wouldn't have a hope! I've also enjoyed the teacups ride at Disneyland (still needed the Kwells) which, while a whole lot quieter than some crazier rides was nevertheless enjoyable.
NO< I hate heights, so I just look at them, if I happen to be walking past them. I once did go on a Mad Mouse when I was a teenager, & that was enough to put me off them for the rest of my life!
I'm not even tempted any more! I loved them as a kid, though.
