I used to buy them often, however no longer buy them ever.
I guess I have more to do now as have an i pad and play games on that when I am home!
I do not buy any regular magazines from the newsagent or supermarkets, though I've sometimes indulged in specific editions of Beading & Gardening titles which have particular articles I wish to have repeated access to,if I feel like spolinig myself! I have often bought these cheaply at the local op shop which always gets lovely clean, almost new copies in! I get my fill of the others at my monthly visits to my doctors and pathology rooms!!!! I really am not interested in the 'gossip' about celebrities at all,but I do enjoy the recipes and such-like which are also in many magazines! My lovely doctor's receptionists will always photocopy any which I would like to have,or sometimes even remove them from the magazines and give the actual pages to me to take home.
I find that the prices of magazines these days make them somewhat of a luxury for me as I am unable to work any more!
I used to buy them but never now...just think they are a waste of my money now
I never buy magazines. Everything I could ever want to read is already online. However my work is being featured in a national glossy magazine this month, so I might have to buy a copy or two :)
Never beauty, fashion or gossip mags. I used to sometimes buy hobby magazines (eg. ones about cross stitch or reptile keeping) or the Fortean Times.
I don't buy any magazines, but I do read my mother-in-law's.
Yes. I love to get them when I can pay $12.00 for a year. As a fashion blogger/lifestyle I use them to stay inspired
I used to buy earlier. But I don't have time to read magazines.
I used to but now I read everything online.
I sometimes buy them. I like Dumbo Feather, which is a beautiful magazine featuring long interviews with interesting creatives and entrepreneurs. Sometimes I indulge and buy something "trashy" though, like SHOP or CLEO. Everyone has weaknesses!
I was very keen on one a few years ago.
Looked forward so much to getting it, nice warm drink few minutes to look at all the home decorating ideas.
More on the 'shabby chic' kind.
I used to buy lots of magazines, everything from fiction mag to photography and writing magazines. I haven't done so for a number of years though. Most of the same information is available online. Also, I hate carting around magazines when I move or having to store them, if they have information I want to reference later.
Not any more but sometimes I pick up mags at my local library
Do not buy them new, occassionally in the OP Shop I will pick up some, then take them to work for our Dementio clients to cut them up and make beautiful collages.
I use to years ago, now I am more selective with my reading and the gossip no longer interests me. Too busy living my life I guess.
I used to buy magazines years ago, but have stopped as the girls from work brings the magazines to work, and i also go to the library to read the magazines.
Not any more. Everything is available online anyways. Why would I waste money? But I do pick up magazines which are free of cost like Melbourne Child.
No, never. Well, maybe once or twice a year if getting on a plane or something. Like reading the silly gossipy things when in a waiting room or at a friends house but otherwise dont bother. waste of money.
Used to when I was younger. Not now, though. Can't afford them.
Yes I do buy weekly magazines, but I do find some of them are a waste of money, such as the womans day.
used to years ago every page was worth reading
do not buy any now not worth reading and far to expensive to maybe read one article that is worth reading in it
I used to buy the New Idea, from aged 16 to 22, so that was many, many years ago now. I used to drive in with my father to the city a couple of days a week to work, & he liked me reading the Mere Male' section to him. I don't think I bothered buying it after I got married though. I only read them now, when I visit the dentist or the hairdresser. A friend does very occasionally give me her magazines if she doesn't take them to the op-shop!
I use to buy them but they have got very expensive and I can no longer afford to buy them. I'll buy them 2ndhand if the crossword and the puzzles haven't been done. I get better value in a 2nd hand book which lasts longer.
