Yes, I buy these regularly as they are such good value.
There is always one or two per day though lately they all include drinks. I do not buy these as most of my friends do not drink anymore.
There are some really great deals in expensive and non expensive cafes and restaurants and take aways. Groupon, Scoopon are the main ones I buy from
I don't think I've ever done this actually. It's a good idea, but I was fed up receiving emails from discount outlets, so unsubscribed before purchasing any coupons.
I have never bought deals for restaurants but I have bought deals for hotel breaks.
No ,I do not do this as I am a very small eater and actually prefer to eat at home!! I NEVER feel as though I get value for money when eating out anymore!
I don't tend to myself but I have a friend who I have been meeting for lunch every few months or so and she buys them...
Not for meals. I rarely eat out and when I do it's spare of the moment so not enough time. With young kids I do, however, keep an eye out for deals on attractions we might go to.
No not really....we very rarely eat out.
Where we do, they do not have deals.
I have never bought deals for restaurants from the internet but have made frequent use of dockets for cheaper meals or more usually the buy get one free deals. I often check www.shopadocket.com.au which alsp has other offers.
No, as Restaurants I like aren't featured..
I've purchased several deals from Cudo and have had great meals at places I probably would not have patronised previously. It gives a good indication of value for money (at the normal price) and I've only had one meal that I would consider wasn't value for the price indicated on the menu but the food was good, just not enough.
Yes, my husband buys them! We use them when we have something else to do in the Sydney, (nsw) CBD. If it saves me cooking that night, that’s great! We have bought the Lindt cafe one a few times, & brought home 2 lots of the food in our little containers, to have for afternoon teas at home!
I'm writing this reply much, much later. We wouldn't buy them anymore as I now can't eat a lot of the foods, eg: Dairy & Gluten, corn, potatoes, turnips & most sugar items!
no i do not buy anything online
I buy online deals for meals at restaurants quite often! They are such good value and it is good to be able to try something new without having to pay full price! Even if the meal isn't as good as you thought it might be, at least it was cheaper! A good way to experience something new at a discounted price. A lot of the time I would always do some online research and read some reviews about the restaurant before purchasing the deal.
Yes, and it has been a mixed bag.
We used to a lot, but thy haven't been coming into my husbands computer for a long while now. We used to like the lunch ones. In Sydney the best one for us, was a bucket of prawns & a bottle of wine at a restaurant at Darling Harbour & 1 night we had a deal for an Indian restaurant, also at Darling Harbour, & the fireworks started up, as we were leaving the restaurant! We thought that was because it was our wedding anniversary! But we later found it it wasn't because of that! They light them every Saturday evening, at 8.30!!! It sure made our evening feel special though!
Sorry, again, I didn't check, & I'd already answered this question!
Did my first one just last week! Will be going to the restaurant tomorrow night. Fingers crossed it will be nice.
How was your DEAL dinner, Poppy? I hope you had a fun night out!
It was great. Have done it numerous times since. Would highly recommend it. Always nice to get 30-50% off a bill! :)
