I really do. They glide so effortlessly.
However I don't really see many near our home.. we are very much in the city.
it's impressive seeing them fly around, but a little disturbing when they just circle
My husband has a fascination for birds of prey. He loves to watch them as they are so graceful when they soar. They have such brilliant eye sight, and it is really clever to see them home in on prey from such a distance away.
Lluxi, my husband is the same way.

I do and I have just been outside watching a wedge tailed eagle! Wow, Vee, you're GOOD! Anyway, he was just gliding about and looking like Joe Cool but Mother Magpie took exception to his being in her air space so she screamed the neighbourhood down, called in reinforcements and they beat him out of town. LOL. Obviously he wasn't hunting or he would have stayed. I get a family of Whistling Kites around here as well as a beautiful Square Tailed Kite. They are all so magnificent.

:-D That would have been a sight to see, Rice. We were fortunate enough to see a birds of prey show at the Medieval Fayre in Downside recently. Unfortunately, the eagle didn't get to come out. But the owl was so cute!

Love Eagle's.
Amazing birds, and very graceful.

Oh ooo? looks like mine has caught something that it can't eat.!
Bahahaha! Is that a drone? LOL Good catch.

Haha! Oh my gosh, I hope it didn't hurt itself.

I think the drone is cactus!...birds fine.

I do. To be fair, I feel bad for the prey, but the power of these birds is incredible.

Owls . . .! Soooo gorgeous. As for the prey, I feel sad too, but it is so quick, at least they don't kill for pleasure so we can feel better for that I suppose.

You're right. That's one of the things that separates us from "the beasts". I reckon we could learn something from them, eh?

I enjoy watching all birds in flight. Even the common seagull has grace in flight
I do enjoy watching birds of prey, they are so majestic.
Not particularly, though when I was on the farm, I did watch them mainly because they would swoop down and pinch my baby ducks/geese etc as well as the wild ones swimming on the lake in our back yard.

I know "it's the circle of life", but it still makes me sad to think of these things.
