Do you empty your vacuum cleaner each time you vacuum the whole house?

I used to have a vacuum cleaner that needed emptying before the house was finished cleaning.

This one was a mistake to buy but bought it when I had central ducting and we extended the house but not the ducting, so it was only used for one section of the farm house.

Now I have an industrial one in a much smaller place, and I can use it about 6 times before I empty it as the bag is HUGE.

No, but I probably should as it doesn't suck as well as when it's been emptied. I push it until the second or third, sometimes even fourth vacuum.

I usually empty it after 2 or 3 times depending on how much the dogs have shed!!! Summer time would be when I do it each time.

Usually have to empty it after each room . . . simply cannot figure why one of these dogs isn't bald . . . he sheds like a . . . like a . . . like a four legged hairy moulty thing!

I have two of those who moult ALL the time,no matter the season!!! But their hair fortunately is very short.I used to have one with long hair many years ago,and I had the same issue as you!She lived till she was 14,Bless Her !! These with the short hair,though plenty of it,I find easier as I can sweep a lot of their hair with a broom,as I now have mainly wooden floors.I have to do THAT sometimes TWICE a day though!! Nothing in the world would induce me to ever NOT have these beloved Fur Babies,as they truly are my world!

No I leave it as long as possible before emptying! I loath vacuuming

Yes I do . My vacuum cleaner is bag less , materal dust bag. It seems if you empty after cleaning the moter will last longer it's 30 years old still going strong

it is emptied after every use. does not take that long to do.

We don't have much space to use the medium size vacuum cleaner, but we do also have a handheld 1, that needs emptying after the 3rd or 4th use. As you would all know, they only last 20 mins before they have to go on recharge.
