Do you eat sausages?

I used to before I stopped eating red meat the majority of the time (still eat bacon!).

I didnt often have sausages as I never liked the idea of all the fat etc that is put in them, however nowadays them seem to be in all flavours and qualities so perhaps they are better?

It is a food I rarely miss unless I pass a Bunnings on weekends when they have a sausage sizzle though I think that smell is from the onions!

Isn't bacon PINK meat, Finy? And yes your right, I think it IS the fried onions 1 can smell at a Bunnings BBQ, not the snags! Why don't they smell that nice when cooked on 1's home stovetop?!

(my son does) hard to get a lot of men not too.It's kind of a Aussie thing.
I make sure I get the better ones for him.

Seldom. I only eat pork sausages but I am really, really picky. . . and they have to be very well cooked. Nearly all the ones in the photo are not done enough for me.

I don't really like sausages, but I will have one when I am working on the Bunnings sausage sizzle. We rarely have time to go out to get anything else to eat. My daughter likes curried sausages, so the family eat that when I go to a meeting each month.

I have three. My daughter is still home. My sons have moved out. My eldest son is married. Middle son is living with his girlfriend.

I like them but rarely have them.

Sausages are served at our place with the traditional three veg. at least once a week but I love them most in bread with onion. There's no way I could walk past a Bunnings Sausage Sizzle without getting one. Yum.....

I have never been a fan of sausages at all!! We very rarely had them when I was growing up, even on a BBQ! It was usually lamb or steak, or fresh fish!! The Charity Sausage Sizzles DO smell utterly scrumptious, but I still do not eat them!!! As mentioned in an earlier response, I will sometimes have a 'bacon, cheese and onion' sizzle when these added items are available. I just forgo the actual sausage!!!

Only at a BBQ. I would never cook them myself. Don't believe there is any food value in them.

Yes, njsan, your right there, but they are handy standby if your home very late from somewhere,& don't have time to look up a recipe! I'll only eat snags at a BBQ or of cause from a Bunnings charity stand, if my other 1/2 HAS to go to Bunnings on a week-end, I'll seat & eat 1 in the car!

I enjoy a good sausage grilled and topped with onion and fresh tomato gravy with a dash of worcestershire sauce in it. The sausages are pork (as first preference) weiswurst, chicken and honey and macadamia. If having weiswurst it has to have sauerkraut or red cabbage with apple either on the plate, or just with the sauerkraut and German mustard in a bun.

Not a huge fan.. however like most people a Bunnings BBQ is hard to ignore.

Costco do a brilliant range of Pork sausages.. and that is coming from a non sausage lover, so they must be good!

Only eat thick Pork snags.
Will have a 'flavoured' type once in a 'blue moon'.

Only beef one I'll have is at Bunnings!
