I will only turn them on if it is foggy or raining.

Otherwise I can see no need for them in city driving.

Occasionally I will put them on parking lights if the weather is very dull or raining slightly, but in heavy rain, I always have them on.

I always have my headlights on in the day when I am travelling country roads as it is easier for oncoming vehicles to see.
No not unless it is rreally bad weather and when I go through a tunnel

Sometimes - if it is a dark day, heavy rain or fog.

I do not drive, but I recall my dad always putting the lights on in heavy fog and rain when I lived in Melbourne. It was just the way every one drove, so I expect people to do this now.
I don't think so. Not deliberately anyway! My headlights come on automatically when the car thinks they are needed, so I guess if it's dark during the day they come on.
Mine too. It's great when coming out of an underground car park.

It depends on the weather and visibility

I do tend to use them m0re, because people drive like crazy in 2015.
I would say that even if I was a younger driver.
You just have no idea if they are on drugs?..or driving a SVU car.
Don't get me started.....lights on, if I feel I need too.
Totally over bad drivers, who feel they can do 90-100 in a 80 zone.
SVU drivers who feel they own the whole road.
As per the Road Rule: 'Headlights must be in the 'on' position if weather is overcast or raining'.
End of.

Always have them on if 'country' long distance driving, for safety.
Only if it is very overcast and/or raining. On overcast days when things are really grey, and as I have a silver coloured vehicle and I like people to be able to see me,
I don't drive, & my husband only has his on in heavy rain, & at dusk

I only drive with my lights on if it is dark outside, and the sky looks like it is about to rain and thunder.
I don't drive, & my husband doesn't have his lights on during the day, unless it's very foggy or if it's raining heavily.
