I do my own gardening and really enjoy it when the weather is not too dry. It makes me sad to see the garden withered and although we have both town and tank water, we try to be sustainable and use only our tank water. Our yard is 3/4 acre so I cannot justify watering it all.
If I could afford to pay someone to help , I would rather they did my housework.
I love being out in the garden, and it is so wonderful to be out there at this time of the year. All my spring flowering plants are coming up. The bulbs are popping up, and so many of my plants are in bud. I love plenty of colour in the garden, and having a beautiful perfume. As long as I am able, I want to continue working in the garden, hopefully for many years to come.
Sadly, gardening and myself are a marriage made in hell. Since the fencing and roofing was done my yard is now a big mess. . . they left gravel and cement all over. I will have to get somebody else in to fix it for me.
I try to do my own gardening. My little ones sometimes like to come out and help me as well. I generally get my partner to do the big stuff like major weed pulling etc. Love my little vegie patch though!
Yes we do, & yes I do enjoy it. We once had 12 tulips, 2 of each 6 colours. We went out 1 Sunday afternoon, for 45 minutes & when we arrived home
the 2 teenage boys from next door, had cut of all the flowering heads & dropped them on the road in front of their house!
