With so many wonderful recipes posted here on Hub Garden through hubs like RecipeYum and KidRecipes, I wonder how many people cook from them? I have found great ideas from this site for my own cooking, and have also archived some ideas and recipes for the future.
I love looking through the recipes on Hub Garden, especially if I'm feeling uninspired and have already pulled something out of the freezer to cook for dinner. I just click on the ingredients I have, and wham, instant inspiration! I also love reading other people's recipes even if I'm not going to cook them soon, it's great to see how other people cook and what they eat.
I print out all the ones I want to make and so have a huge stack of recipes to be made. I will need to live to 100 to make all the recipes I have collected from various places.
And I vowed never to buy another cook book -moral of this is "never say never"! I keep arriving home with cook books -so Recipe Yum get added to my books of things to make.
I'm hearing you Finy. I also pull out recipes in magazines I like and intend to make. While I was overseas recently my husband put all the recipes into plastic sleeves and then into binders in their various categories. As to the recipe books I've amassed over the years, they fill an entire wall in the back room (and bookcase in the loungeroom as well). I think maybe I need to live at least 200 years to make an impression on them. Just can't help myself as I thumb through the various magazines and cooking books at the supermarket, and on line as well.
